Solar Project

The Borough of Little Ferry entered into an agreement with SunLight General Capital for installation of solar panels on the three Borough owned properties listed below. This fifteen year agreement is called a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) in which the Borough will be buying solar power from SunLight General Capital at a reduced rate. At the end of the fifteen year agreement, the Borough will be paying less for electricity than it does now; power will be purchased from SunLight at a rate of $0.089 a kw as opposed to the current market rate of $0.15.
